關係代名詞 Part 2 - That - 補充說明

寫好稿有一段時間了
終於在昨天擠出第二集的關代啦!

這次跟大家介紹的是關係代名詞「That」
影片裡面有些想跟大家補充的細節
在這邊用文字敘述的方式跟大家說清楚講明白



不可使用THAT的時機: Ain't nobody got time for THAT!






1) 關代前面有介係詞

This is the house in which he lives. 
(影片打錯字，把This打成The了)

這個句子沒有組合前應該是:

This is the house.
He lives in the house.

句型的擺法通常有下面幾種:

【正宮大老婆擺法】
通常關代與介係詞合併時
介係詞會擺在關代的前面
如: in which、at which、of which、with whom等等

This is the house in which he lives. (正式用法)

【遠距離戀愛擺法】
將介係詞和關代分開的也可以喔:

This is the house which he lives in. (非正式)

【小三入侵擺法】
因為上句的脫油瓶介係詞沒有在正宮關代前面了
所以可以用不人不鬼的小三that代替:

This is the house that he lives in. (非正式)


【我恨關代之終極擺法】
除了上述幾招，再介紹一個終極絕招:



He lives in this house.

不過這招拿來考試大概也會讓你終極吧...

2) 關代前面有逗號

關代前面有逗號
表示「非限定用法」
舉例來說好了:

Your brother，who plays video games all day，needs to get a life.
表示這人只有一個哥哥/弟弟

Your brother who plays video games all day needs to get a life.
表示這人不只一個兄弟 (杯具)

第一句非限定用法要用逗號連結
因此句子會有兩個逗號連結兩個句子

Your brother plays video games all day.
Your brother needs to get a life.
=Your brother，who plays video games all day，needs to get a life.


上述兩句之中
也只有後者才能用that取代喔! 

Your brother who plays video games all day needs to get a life.
Your brother that plays video games all day needs to get a life.
(真是不人不鬼的杯具)

3) People和Those

如果句子很廣義的在講一群人或那群人的時候
關代只能用who
舉例:

People who are evil will not help others.
Those who don't play video games are missing all the fun.

因為people和those都是複數
所以記得後面的動詞和be動詞都要用複數型喔!
